This new training program launched by the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy (844-337-6975) helps new students with no previous skills or qualifications to become fully trained and certified in basic MedSpa procedures, allowing them to work either from their own homes or in a local clinic.

The new training option, launched by the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy, helps students to learn popular MedSpa procedures such as laser hair removal, micro-blading, and acne treatments, and includes all the certifications required to provide these treatments at home, or in a local clinic.

In response to a growing demand for MedSpa technicians, the Dermysk Academy has worked to make its classes more accessible to new students by placing the majority of the training content online. While students must spend at least one week getting hands-on training at the Dermysk Academy, they can now complete the bulk of their book learning online, from anywhere with an internet connection.
These new courses break the training into two parts. Students will first receive access to online training modules, which provide scientific and historical background for the MedSpa industry, and for each individual procedure. This online work will familiarize students with the various MedSpa techniques, how they work, and how to run a home business.
After completing the online lessons, students can schedule their practical training at any Dermysk Academy across Canada. The practical training portion of the program will include getting hands-on experience with MedSpa tools, techniques, and clients, while closely supervised by a Dermysk training specialist.
Graduation from the Basic training program, which takes approximately eight weeks, will allow students to begin working immediately from their homes or a local clinic. Graduates may also return to the Dermysk Academy at any time to improve their skills or to learn more complex techniques with an advanced course.
In the Basic course, students will receive certifications for up to a dozen of the most popular techniques, including laser hair removal, laser pigmentation treatments, and fractional abrasion. However, certain complex procedures are not taught until either the Advanced or Master-level course, such as Cool Sculpting, laser gynecology, and stem cell treatments.
An Academy spokesperson explained, “Our Medical Aesthetics course empowers you to unlock the secrets of aesthetic mastery, equipping you with a deep understanding of skin complexities, innovative treatment techniques, and the power to create remarkable aesthetic experiences. From skincare fundamentals to advanced procedures, discover the path to becoming a sought-after aesthetic professional.”
