Ty Stimpson, a partner at Varghese Summersett, was named a “Man of Impact” by the Fort Worth Business Press during the inaugural Titans of Business Awards.
Ty Stimpson was among 18 honorees recognized on September 2 for their impact on the economic strength, civic momentum and community character of the Dallas-Fort Worth region.
“I am honored to be recognized alongside so many men who are doing incredible things for North Texas,” Stimpson said. “For me, impact has always been about using the opportunities you have to help others, whether that’s a client going through one of the hardest moments of their life or an organization working to make our community stronger.”
Since January 2023, Stimpson has led the growth of Varghese Summersett’s Personal Injury Division, building the team from the ground up to 12 members who have recovered millions for injured clients and families who have lost loved ones due to others' negligence or wrongdoing.
Beyond his legal work, Stimpson serves as board chair of the Tarrant Area Food Bank, Fort Worth Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County.
Stimpson also helped advocate for the passage of the Athena Alert, which strengthens protections for missing children in Texas, and hosts the podcast “Take This Down with Ty Stimpson,” which spotlights North Texas leaders.

Stimpson’s honors include being recognized as a Man on a Mission by 360 West magazine, a 2026 “Best Of” honoree in the Up & Coming category by Fort Worth Magazine, a Fort Worth Inc. 40 Under 40 honoree, and the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professional of the Year. He was also named the inaugural Strong Man Honoree by Girls Inc. of Tarrant County and received the Dr. Marion Brooks “Legend in the Making” Award for Law.
Stimpson and the other honorees were featured in the Fort Worth Business Press “Titans of Business Awards” magazine, where he reflected on the principles that have shaped his leadership approach and the legacy he hopes to leave.
“Trust is earned through consistency,” Stimpson said in the magazine. “Showing up prepared, treating people with respect, and doing the right thing, even when no one is watching, builds lasting relationships and better outcomes.”
That philosophy also shapes how Stimpson hopes his impact will ultimately be measured.
“I hope people remember me as someone who genuinely cared, treated others with respect, and always did what I believed was right,” he said.
