KoreanCosmetics.eu Expands EU Wholesale of Mizon, Coxir, Ariul and The Skin House as K-Beauty Growth Shifts to Europe

Oct 30, 2026

A European shop that sells Korean skincare today has an easier time finding products than keeping them. A serum sells out, the next batch takes weeks to arrive from Seoul, and the customer asks where it came from. Retailers want stock they can reorder and paperwork they can show when asked.

KoreanCosmetics.eu, the wholesale platform of Estonian distributor Lenzer Trade OÜ, was set up for exactly that. From its warehouse in Estonia, the company supplies beauty shops, online retailers, pharmacies, salons and regional distributors across Europe. Its four priority brands are Mizon, Coxir, Ariul and The Skin House.

Europe is where K-beauty is growing

South Korea exported a record US$11.4 billion of cosmetics in 2025 and overtook the United States as the world's second-largest cosmetics exporter, behind France, according to the country's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. Exports in the first half of 2026 rose by more than a quarter compared with the same period a year earlier.

A growing share of those exports goes to Europe. Shipments to Poland, which many Korean companies use as an entry point to the EU, more than doubled in 2025. Air cargo data shows Europe has passed Asia as the largest air market for Korean beauty products. The United States now applies tariffs to Korean imports, so many Korean brands are putting more effort into Europe.

Retailers get more products to choose from as a result. They also face more stock of unclear origin on the market.

More exports, more recalls

Korean regulators recorded more than three times as many cosmetics recalls and disposals in 2025 as in 2024. Korea plans to introduce its own safety assessment system for cosmetics in stages from 2028.

The EU already has its rules. Cosmetics sold in the EU must comply with Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009. Every product needs a Responsible Person based in the EU, and the required product information has to be notified through the Cosmetic Products Notification Portal (CPNP). A CPNP notification is not a quality approval. It is one part of a wider set of obligations.

Large importers can buy directly from South Korea. For an independent shop or a small online store, the same route usually means high minimum orders, international freight, customs paperwork and regulatory duties that few small teams can handle.

KoreanCosmetics.eu ships wholesale orders from stock that is already in the EU. Retailers deal with one European supplier for product information, assortment planning, samples and marketing materials. Order quantities and delivery terms are agreed with each partner.

What each brand does on the shelf

Mizon is the base of most assortments. Its best-known products use snail mucin, collagen and retinol, and the range also includes BB creams and everyday care. A retailer can build a whole K-beauty section around it or start with Mizon alone.

Coxir organises its ranges by skin need (hydration, cleansing, skin texture), so shop staff can explain the products without referring to whatever is trending online that month.

Ariul is the easiest way in. Sheet masks, cleansers and serums work well as trial purchases and fit on a small display.

The Skin House covers the rest of a routine with established skincare lines, anti-ageing ranges and gift sets. Customers who started with a single mask have somewhere to go next.

Who answers for the product

Lenzer Trade was founded in Tartu in 2015. It is the EU Responsible Person for Coxir and The Skin House and carries the regulatory obligations that come with that role. It supplies CPNP-notified products and the related documentation to its wholesale partners.

Retailers still handle the obligations in their own markets, such as labelling in the local language. The difference is that they know who is accountable for the product. That matters when a customer, a marketplace or an inspector asks, and it is something a retailer buying from an unknown intermediary cannot say.

"Five years ago retailers called us asking for whatever was popular on social media. Now they ask whether they can reorder it next spring and whether the documents are in order. That's why we concentrate on Mizon, Coxir, Ariul and The Skin House, and why we take responsibility for compliance ourselves," said a spokesperson for Lenzer Trade OÜ, the company behind KoreanCosmetics.eu.

Retailers, pharmacies, salons, concept stores and regional distributors can request wholesale prices, availability and partnership terms at KoreanCosmetics.eu.
